HerdProof

HerdProof is an AI-powered cattle inventory review tool that helps ranchers and agricultural lenders compare livestock observed in drone imagery with inventory records. A fine-tuned YOLOv8n model detects cattle, while OpenCV aligns overlapping photos to reduce double-counting and flag uncertain or partially visible animals. Users can step into an interactive 3D field built with Three.js and measured terrain data, walk among cattle representations, and inspect the original photo behind each observation. Verification combines visual review, human corrections, and recorded image hashes and model settings to make estimates traceable. A reconciliation demo checks reviewed counts against synthetic inventory and sale records, highlighting discrepancies and missing, stale, or unreviewed evidence. These checks support inventory review; complete herd coverage, capture authenticity, and ownership require separate verification.
